The Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the SCTE is the non-profit local branch of the national SCTE organization. Our membership comprises everyone from cable and telecom operators, to technicians, engineers, and vendors based in the Eastern Pennsylvania region.

Our area is a rich and diverse mix of extremes, from the urban landscapes of Philadelphia and Lancaster to the rural heritage of the Amish country, and just about everything in between. The officers, board members, and other paying members of our chapter represent the diversity of our region, and lend their years of experience and knowledge to one another in our ongoing effort to move the industry forward. Providing a solid foundation to serve our area requires a substantial amount of work to ensure the chapter is strong.

Simply put, making our chapter tick and being an integral part of the local industry is a passion for us. We don’t get paid for our work. The industry has given us all a great livelihood, and serving the chapter is our way of giving back.

Meet Our Board Members

Yarik Merkulov has been an integral part of Precision Optical Technologies since September 2017, building a diverse skill set across multiple roles within the cable industry. He began his career as a production technician, where he gained hands-on experience in order fulfillment while mastering Precision’s stringent quality assurance processes. After a year, he transitioned into an engineering technician role, further expanding his technical expertise in both active and passive optical equipment. Today, as a customer-facing specialist, Yarik plays a key role in supporting product development and deployment, with a strong focus on cost-optimized solutions and operational efficiency. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence help customers achieve scalable, high-performance network solutions tailored to their evolving needs.
